BOB Revolution Flex Duallie Stroller Review
Have you ever tried those low-priced strollers that offer poor quality and lackluster performance? I once had a cheap double jogger. It was far from what I was looking for in a stroller. So, I sought out for a better double stroller for my 4 month old and 2 year old. I came by a few options, but the BOB Revolution Flex Duallie Stroller was the most impressive. Its price was a little over the roof, but it offered premium quality features for the price. Even so, I researched this double jogger for a month before making the purchase. Not that I am picky…I had a rough time sinking such amount of money into a stroller.
I ordered the Flex Duallie, black, and it looks even better in real. I took to it instantly. It’s amazingly lightweight for a double stroller, and it pushes like gliding on air! It folds like a dream: in two easy steps. Folding, the stroller assumes a compact form that is easy to store away or park in the trunk. You’ll love that the handlebar is adjustable to suit strollers of different heights. BOB Revolution Flex Duallie is perhaps my favorite feature. I am 5’6” myself and my husband is 6’3”. Needless to say, an adjustable handlebar was a necessity for us.
Having done tones of research on the Flex Duallie, and having actually purchased and used it for 4 months now, believe that I know every curve on this stroller. This review of the BOB Revolution flex Duallie stroller should help you know everything you need to know about this double jogger.

Features of the BOB Revolution Flex Duallie Stroller
The Flex Duallie is an adorable stroller. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. I like how it glides smoothly and handles any terrain easily –rough or flat. It comes in an attractive design that you’ll be proud to bring along. Its price may be more than a little too high, but it covers for that by offering some really amazing, high-end features. Check out some of its outstanding features:
Sturdy and Stable Buggy
This isn’t one of those really lightweight double strollers. It registers a net weight of 34lbs, which automatically knocks it out of the lightweight race. It’s made of solid materials –high strength chromoly and aluminum – to make it durable.
Its fabric is poly and dobby weave, and is treated with a water repellent coating. You can be sure BOB Revolution Flex Duallie Stroller will last in the family for the long haul.
When stationary, you need not worry about your stroller tipping over when the kids try climbing around it. This buggy is really stable. It offers the latest innovative features making it perfect for the sport experience. It certainly is the perfect double jogger – there is no shake while running with it.
Agility and Maneuverability
I tend to think that no stroller maneuvers like the BOB Revolution Flex. The way this side-by-side double stroller moves through tight spaces and on rough terrains is simply remarkable. It’s like the Flex Duallie sets the mark for agility and maneuverability; and other double stroller should endeavor to live by.
The buggy glides over various terrains in a breeze. It maneuvers on rough patches as it would on the flats. Navigation with the BOB Revolution Flex isn’t hard.
This three wheeled buggy turns on a dime and takes really tight corners without much haste. For a side-by-side double stroller, the BOB really surpassed my expectations when it fit effortlessly through narrow doorways – such as you may find on public restrooms.
The BOB was designed to be a comfortable ride for the baby. It comes with multiple features to enhance comfort for the passengers. Seats as well as harness are well padded to ensure a comfortable ride for the kids. The suspension on the wheels makes for a smooth ride all the way – even through rough Terrain.
Wheels are 3” and feature elastomer core and coil spring shock absorbers to ride on rough roads as if gliding in the air. The buggy allows two adjustable positions on the shock release knobs, to accommodate different weights.
One for weights between 1-50lbs and the other for weights between 50-100lbs. The seats recline for comfort. They feature a 5-point harness that the kids cannot sneak out of. The secure harness for each seat is adjustable on the crotch as well as on the shoulder – for taller kids.
Dual Canopies With Peek-A-Boo Windows
The BOB Flex Duallie comes with really large canopies to shield the little ones from the suns wrath. These large dual canopies move independently to enhance individual passenger comfort. Though I have never left my stroller out in the rain, the canvas material used to make the canopies is water resistant.
It can withstand light showers in case you get caught up in one. With the shades drawn out, the stroller looks like one of those classic horse drawn vehicles – viewed from the rear side.
Each shade has a peek-a-boo window for the parent to see the passengers in the seats. The windows are located strategically to allow you to see the kids no matter how the seats are reclined. It also offers sun protection for the kids inside.
Ease of Folding
Folding your BoB Flex Duallie is quick and easy. This might perhaps be the only positive thing I’ve seen in terms of the folding process. Every other thing was neither too disappointing nor so impressive. The BoB comes down in a two hand fold.
It secures this position using a manual lock and the buggy will not be able to stand on its own in the fold position. There are no available handles for carrying nor are there any visible straps for transporting.
The buggy is rather weighty, so transport there becomes an issue. Even so, I’ve never seen a buggy that is so easy to assemble, quick to fold and unfolds in a dime. There are only 3 steps involved in the fold process.
Storage! Storage! Storage!
Storage for this buggy is not an issue. In fact, the only issue has been to be able to use up all the space allowed. It sure offers more than enough storage room for my family of 8 for a whole day at the zoo or at the park.
I love that I always have all the necessities with me whenever I roll out with BOB Revolution Flex Duallie Stroller. There is a large storage basket underneath the seats for your utility on bigger.
This is the main storage and can be accessed from the back as well as from either side. It can be accessed even while the seats are fully reclined. There is also a large stow pocket on the back of each seat. These are great for small items you may need frequently; mobile and wallets.

Q: Can it fit in a normal size car trunk when folded?
A: I don’t have a problem putting it in my Camry trunk. It’s easy to take the wheels off and on.
Overall, this buggy is quite a catch. It offers everything I wanted in a stroller. Yes, I must admit that I was a little disappointed having to purchase the snack tray and handlebar console separately – for the buggy’s price range! All the same, I got over it. Note that, not all Accessories sold on Amazon are compatible with this stroller.
I rather ignored that point and bought an older model for the console. My bad! This stroller requires the newer one. Even so, I really like the quality, durability, appeal and performance of this stroller. I have come to appreciate it…it’s my hope you will as well. I doubt you’ll regret this purchase!
