Graco DuoGlider Classic Connect Stroller Review
Want a double that will last for the long haul and grow with your family? You must have searched long and hard for the best stroller for your family. Not that am choosy, but when it comes to my kids, I never compromise on anything.
So, I too, had been in the same exact state you and most other parents are -going in circles looking for the perfect stroller for the kids. Fortunately, I found the right stroller, the Graco DuoGlider Classic Connect Stroller. I instantly took to the stroller not just for its stylish appeal, but also for its premium features. I’m baffled at how it’s flexible and adjustable to grow with my kids.
Comfort for the little ones and functionality for the parent makes it a great stroller to have in the family. It’s a durable build, with quality features you only find in the more expensive buggies. Yes, it comes ridiculously affordable…without compromising on quality or features. I recommended this stroller to my neighbor and cousin who were having their second children in the same month.
They both loved the stroller. It felt good to have saved them the hassles of looking for a stroller that would fit their growing families. So, I decided to write this review to share my experience with the stroller. I’m sure it will help someone else out there.
Features of the Graco DuoGlider Classic Connect Stroller
For a stroller that comes low on the price tag, this stroller sure offers lots of premium features. Perhaps the thing you will appreciate most about this stroller is its unique sense of style. And they don’t skimp on quality! Here are some of its amazing features.
Lockable Front Swivel Wheels
I love how well it maneuvers. Its front swivel wheels are lockable to make it a smooth ride over any terrain. It rolls smoothly on the flats and hold up quite well on the roughs. All in all, pushing this stroller is a breeze.
The wheels have a nice suspension that make it a comfortable ride both for the kids and me. I can go anywhere with this buggy. And it’s a lightweight double – perfect! It sure turns easily…lets me take those sharp turns when need be.
The first time this stroller just slipped through a standard sized doorway, I had to go back and see how many inches it was from getting stuck – it was pretty far!
Handle Bar; Comfortable to Push
For any parent, a smooth handling buggy is the perfect choice. Especially for double strollers. This buggy pushes like it’s gliding in the air. Its handles are well angled – not ergonomically as such- for easy pushing.
The grip is firm and the bar is such that you assume a good posture that makes pushing a breeze. No chance you will be fatigued in such a posture. The height is good for both taller parents and shorter ones.
At 6’5” my husband is able to push this stroller without hunching over. I’m 6” shorter, but I don’t struggle controlling the stroller. The buggy isn’t super light, but it sure strolls well even with one hand control. Its swivel lockable wheels make it a smooth ride. You’ll love it.
Single Hand, Standing Quick Fold
Yet again, this stroller impressed with its one hand, standing quick fold. I have never seen a stroller that is so easy to fold. Most Other Strollers will be swift to collapse, but they all need some getting used to. There is no learning curve with this one.
Single hand fold makes it easy to have your kid in one arm and fold the stroller using the free hand. The fold allows you to collapse the stroller while you are still standing!
This makes it super easy. No bending necessary. It’s lightness and compactness makes transporting and storing easy. This buggy fits well in my car trunk for when we have to use the car.
Comfy, Reclining Seats
I love this stroller for the comfort features it offers to my kids. The seats are nicely padded for a relaxed. Comfortable feel for the kids. They are made of really durable, quality material that washes easily.
Each seat can hold up to 40lbs…speak a lot about the quality and durability there. The seats recline for a relaxed feel. The kids can comfortably sleep in the fully recline position. The rear seat is able to recline all the way flat.
It’s comfortable to sleep in when the baby has had enough adventure. There are individual canopies over each seat to protect against the sun. Footrests offer a much needed leg support to keep the little ones comfortable.
Versatile Travel System
This stroller offers exceptional versatility. I used it with my 21mos toddler and his newborn little sister. It was great having both my kids in one stroller. The Stadium style seating configuration really baffled me.
The rear seat is slightly raised such that the passenger in the bch has a view of the road ahead! It was amazing how my boy could just seat anywhere and I would fix the car seat on the vacant seat.
At the back, he was as happy as he was at the front t seat. This stroller can hold two Graco Classic Connect car seats. It gives me the freedom of choice to fix the car seat on either seat. For parents with twin newborn, this should be the perfect stroller.
For long journeys and short strolls around the neighborhood, I also was had baby supplies with me in the buggy. The storage options available for this buggy are just incredible.
If ever I lacked anything, it wasn’t for inadequacy of storage space! There is a large storage basket under the seat. This is the main storage and can hold large diaper backs and even the picnic basket.
You will still have enough room left for other utilities. Parent tray offers convenience for those small things you use frequently while on the way. The front seat comes with a child tray for even greater convenience.
